Deuteronomy 24:1 "Then let him write her a bill of divorce and place it in her hand"The Torah teaches us the proper manner through which a Jewish marriage becomes a union of holiness. If for some reason a marriage must be ended, there are specific laws that must be followed.
This Positive Mitzvah details the manner in which a couple may divorce.
There is no place for worry. You try to decide a course of action. If you do not have the experience to decide, ask the advice of someone who does -- a parent, a teacher, an expert -- someone reliable, but also someone who is conscientious of your spiritual path.Once you have decided what should be done, you follow that course and you trust in G-d that since you are doing what you believe to be the right thing, He will insure that everything will go well.
